The Peninsula Club was established 40 years ago and currently operates as an independent living retirement village encompassing 37 acres. The residential amenities feature villas, townhouses, apartment blocks, with a community hub, all set amidst extensive gardens and grounds that contribute to the charm of this well-established property.

Within my role, I recruited, trained and supervised a team of six gardeners tasked with the general upkeep and enhancement of the property, ensuring that key performance indicators were consistently met. Additionally, I managed the refurbishment process of leaseholds and village landscapes, which included the design and implementation of both hard and soft landscape elements. 

A challenging and extremely rewarding 4 years. The collaboration with the residents, coworkers and management under a corporate framework absolutely invaluable. Professionally to be able to apply my experience of the last 30 years to such a diverse set of factors and expectations provided a framework to improve and renew the village as a whole. A template provided to drive the future development installed. 

I walked forward with a sense of satisfaction and professional completion.
